Paranormal Short Story Competition 2017
All Types of Paranormal Stories Accepted
After the success of our previous Horror anthology ‘Nightmare Massacre’, we at Severance Publications are actively seeking paranormal short stories for our next anthology.
How Does It Work?
This Paranormal Short Story Competition is conducted with the goal to piece together an anthology of some of the best Horror Writers from across the Western world, with the addition of a Cash Prize for the overall winner.
You may enter a maximum of ten short stories for this competition. The winners of our Paranormal Short Story Competition will be notified by e-mail as well as a letter of congratulations sent directly to the overall winner. Your work will be made for ale across the UK and US to give readers a lasting impression of the winning piece as well as the other featuring authors.
Our competitions are delicately judged by our editorial panel of published writers. Entries are judged based on the entrant's ability to paint an intricate picture with words as well as imaginative structure. Paranormal Short Stories aren’t just about the writer’s ability to excite the reader, but to create expectation and suspense of the protagonists. If this sounds like you, and you relish the chance of appearing in our Paranormal Short Stories Anthology and across our social media, why not enter today?
The deadline for this competition is 1st March 2017
Your Tasked Guidelines:
Our Paranormal Short Story Competition Guidelines are very simple so please make sure you follow them before submitting.
~ All entries must be original work from the author themselves.
~ Entries to any of our Poetry Competitions or Short Story Contests must not already be published elsewhere.
~ Short Stories should be within 500 – 5,000 words, though we are lenient on this rule.
~ If you wish to submit more than one Poetry or Short Story entry, you must upload them separately to ensure they are all received. This is shown on our submissions page. It is free to enter, and always will be.
~ If one of your entries is chosen for publication, you will first be notified by e-mail, so please provide a current e-mail address.
